Valentina Sagmeister
Biography
Research topics and expertise: My thesis focuses on applying a network conceptualisation to burnout. More specifically, my supervisors (Tim Vantilborgh & Sara De Gieter) and I are developing a measurement tool suitable for network conceptualisation, since current tools were not designed with this theory in mind. My expertise lies in scale development (systematic reviews, qualitative studies, scale validation), network theory/analysis regarding burnout, and data analysis in R and SPSS.
Education: I have a BSc. in Psychology (Vienna, Austria) and research master’s in Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology (Groningen, Netherlands).
Background: I have a multidisciplinary background ranging from health psychology (UMCG, Groningen; Chris O’Brien Life House, Sydney), epidemiology (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen), educational psychology (University of Potsdam), to philosophy (Universität Wien).
