Sarah Cameron
Biography
Under the supervision of Dr. Joeri Hofmans, Sarah started her PhD as a member of the Re-Connect project, focusing on emotional connectedness across various types of dyadic relationships, and is now an FWO strategic basic research fellow. Sarah’s research focuses primarily on the role of emotions and emotional capabilities (such as emotional intelligence and empathic accuracy) in leader-follower relationships. She is particularly interested in exploring within-dyad emotion dynamics and has employed both lab based and daily diary methods to study this. Sarah holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Psychology from Queen’s University in Canada and a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Change Management from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
